How we count
- Every figure comes from communities' own public about pages on Skool, read slowly by our crawler. We never log in. Communities under 10 members and ones Skool no longer serves are left out.
- This covers the 11,785 communities we have read so far, not all of Skool. The set grows daily, so the numbers will move.
- "Typical" means the median, the middle value. We show it next to the average because a few huge communities distort averages.
- The revenue ceiling is the listed monthly price times the member count, as if every member paid it. Real revenue is lower, sometimes far lower: a community can have a free tier with the listed price being the premium one, and members may have joined at an older price, on a yearly plan, or on a free trial. One-time prices are left out, and so are list prices above $299 a month, where a free tier is most likely.
- Price averages ignore 57 placeholder prices above $999 a month.
- Total members counts memberships. One person in five communities is counted five times.
