About This Community
TGAC Academy supports composers and sound designers at every level with education, feedback, and a strong game audio community.
HI, I’l Brian — founder of Th Game Audio Company, composer, and music educator. I hold an MA in Composing for Video Games, plus a BM and MM in music education, and have spent over a decade teaching music, composition, and production to students of all ages and backgrounds.
My credits include music for indie games, a VR experience produced by ActiveMe \(with The Game Audio Company\), and over 40 podcasts —including First to Fifteen \(the official podcast of USA Fencing\), and Still Here Hollywood \(over 130 million streams, produced by Emmy-winner Jim Lichtenstein\) I’m also currently working on a new project under NDA!
I am passionate about collaborating with creative teams and sharing modern composition techniques that you can actually use — whether you’re scoring your first game, building a media portfolio or just want to level up your music. If you’re looking for practical skills, honest feedback, and a supportive community, you’re in the right place!
