About This Community
Helping adult beginners become confident bluegrass banjo players through step-by-step lessons and community.
Welcome to the Banjo Woodshed!
Have a banjo sitting in the corner collecting dust?
Maybe you bought one years ago, watched a hundred YouTube videos, learned a few rolls... and then got stuck.
You're not alone.
Most adult beginners don't quit because they lack talent. They quit because nobody ever gave them a clear path from complete beginner to confident player.
Stick around for lessons, make connections, visit builders, and catalogue your journey with us!
