HEMA community built on Italian swordsmanship. Train for competition, study all styles, sharpen real fighting skills. Sword Skool is a community for Historical European Martial Arts practitioners who want to train with clarity, structure, and purpose. Our foundation is Italian swordsmanship, drawing from Fiore dei Liberi, Marozzo, and other Italian masters. From that base, we explore other HEMA styles, because modern fencing—especially in competition—requires broad understanding. Sword Skool is built for students and competitors alike. Whether you are refining fundamentals, preparing for tournaments, or testing historical techniques, this is a place to ask good questions, share training, and improve through honest discussion. Here you’ll find Italian-based technical concepts, cross-style insights, practical drills, and thoughtful critique grounded in both historical sources and modern application. Sword Skool values curiosity, discipline, and mutual improvement. If you train seriously, stay open-minded, and want to sharpen your fencing in a focused but welcoming environment, you’ll fit in here.
