About This Community
Join Heather inside SSK! A welcoming knitting and crochet space to share projects, explore color, and build skills alongside kind makers.
SSK \(Secret Society of Knitters\) is a welcoming knitting community created by Heather Walpole, founder of Ewe Ewe Yarns. This space grew from a simple idea: knitting is better when we learn, ask questions, and stitch alongside one another.
Inside SSK, you’ll find thoughtful conversation about color, yarn, patterns, and the creative process. Share your works in progress, celebrate finished pieces, explore new skills, and connect with knitters who value curiosity, kindness, and steady growth.
Ewe Ewe Yarns was built on the belief that color should be joyful, materials should feel beautiful in your hands, and learning should feel approachable. SSK extends that philosophy into community — a place where questions are welcome, experimentation is encouraged, and no one knits alone.
Whether you’re just beginning or deep into your knitting journey, you belong here.
