We're deconstructing white supremacy, antiblackness, race, and racism in theater and our daily lives. Deconstructing with Aleeza is a learning community for people ready to examine race, racism, and their practice with honesty and depth. If you’ve ever wondered: • Why is it harder to be called racist than to interrupt racism? • Why do conflicts fracture arts communities? • Why do good intentions fail to create equity? This space is for you. If you are ready to do the work — not just talk about it — welcome. This is not a call-out space. It is not a debate forum. It is not performative allyship training. This is a compassionate, kind, community. Together we: • Examine how racism functions structurally, not just interpersonally • Explore the impact of whiteness in spaces • Practice accountability rooted in impact, not intent • Build language, clarity, and self-awareness • Move from fragility → capacity This a guided learning space focused on unpacking race, racism, whiteness, power, and representation — especially within theater and creative communities.
