A creative community for adult artists to make more, train their skills, get feedback and build a practice that lasts. Live Saturdays, 4pm UK. Art With Courage is for adults who want to make art and build a practice they can sustain, whether you’re just beginning, returning after a break, or have been making work for years. Whether you’re struggling with procrastination, returning after a break, or already making and want to improve, you’re welcome here. Through Art Gym exercises, live sessions, critiques and demonstrations, you’ll train your eye and hand, develop skills from proportion, value and observation to colour, abstraction and mark-making, and learn how to keep showing up with more confidence, curiosity and joy in your practice. I’m Sarmed Mirza, an award-winning artist and educator who has taught and mentored artists, with a creative practice spanning realism, abstraction, drawing, painting, printmaking, film and writing. Build professional-level skills, confidence and momentum, overcome the stop-start cycle, and create a healthier, more joyful relationship with your art. Live Saturdays, 4pm UK. 18+ only.
